Seymour High School Additions and Renovations

BRCJ worked with the VPS Architecture on multiple projects at Seymour High School, culminating in an extensive renovation and additions to the cafeteria and dining facilities, and administrative offices. In the process, we solved long-standing flooding issues in the performing arts wing of the building.
- Completed topographic surveys using UAV technology.
- Developed new driveway and parking lot layouts to mitigate drainage and floodplain impacts
- Designed a large stormwater lift station in the center of the SHS campus to evacuate drainage water and discharge it to a series of underground storm detention and infiltration facilities.
- Developed site utility systems – water service, fire protection, sanitary sewer – to accommodate existing infrastructure, serve the new facilities , and plan for future developments.
